The International soccer legend Lionel Messi is promoting a Solana-based memecoin called WaterCoin (WATER) through his Instagram Stories. As per WaterCoin’s documentation,the project is focused on raising awareness for water-related issues,to become a full-fledged ecological coin in the future. WaterCoin’s roadmap outlines four stages from the initial presale of the token,through centralized exchange listings and celebrity partnerships,to the final phase of becoming a ‘charity-focused environmental currency’. While there are very few details of how the project will achieve these goals,the token’s price action has displayed the pattern of ‘pump and dump’ mechanics.
