MoneyGram, a leading global payments network for consumers, businesses and communities, has announced the appointment of Lamia Pardo as Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”), effective , June 16, 2025. In this role, Pardo will lead global marketing across all channels and markets, with a clear mandate to accelerate sustainable growth by scaling customer acquisition, increasing retention and strengthening long-term loyalty.

Pardo’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment in MoneyGram’s re-founding journey. As the company sharpens its focus on agility, innovation and customer-driven growth, she will lead the effort to build a world-class growth engine that links marketing directly to measurable business results. Pardo joins the MoneyGram Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to Anthony Soohoo, MoneyGram Chief Executive Officer.

Pardo brings deep expertise in growth marketing, e-commerce and product strategy. Most recently, she led growth marketing at HeliosX, one of the UK’s fastest-growing health tech companies, where she launched multiple brands and helped drive an eightfold increase in revenue over three years.

Her appointment marks her return to fintech. Previously, Pardo was part of the founding team at Pangea Money Transfer, where she served as SVP of Growth and Strategy, playing a key role in achieving product-market fit and scaling operations. She also served as CMO at Consentium, a Singapore-based crypto wallet, leading marketing through a successful $40 million ICO raise.
