Somnia, one of the world’s fastest blockchains with over 1 million TPS and over 2 billion transactions, has announced the launch of its Dreamathon accelerator for elite web3 developer teams to develop DeFi protocols, AI agents, InfoFi products and SocialFi apps on Somnia.
Dreamathon is launched as part of the $10 million grant program launched by Somnia earlier this year, with the goal to onboard developers and bring new apps.
The accelerator will kick off with a pilot program offering a total of $200K in funding to chosen grassroots developers who will receive expert mentoring and launch support from Somnia’s team
This is launched in collaboration with Cracked Labs, an exclusive incubator and venture studio focused on accelerating top-tier builders and works with the Supafund platform, an AI platform for efficient, meritocratic application intake and milestone scoring.
Somnia’s Dreamathon pilot incubator marks the first step in a long-term strategic partnership between Somnia and Cracked Labs, establishing a sustainable pipeline for sourcing, funding, and scaling the highest-conviction teams on Somnia.
With the ultimate goal of advancing the calibre of dApps and projects that push the boundaries of DeFi, SocialFi and InfoFi applications, Somnia is investing in burgeoning developers that will define how we interact with blockchain technology in the future.
Anyone is able to apply for the program but only 20 projects will be chosen to participate in the 8-week pilot and 10 will be chosen to receive the program’s funding.
The Dreamathon offers a crucial opportunity for grassroots developers to launch blockchain projects that will transform the way we interact with blockchain technology.
From strategy bootcamps and live coding support to ecosystem integration and user traction, chosen projects will receive end-to-end support as they gear up to launch.

Dreamathon’s focus is on high-impact, real-time web3 verticals, including:
- InfoFi: Monetize attention, insights, and AI-generated content
- DeFi: Enable ultra-fast, low-cost trading and dynamic market infrastructure
- SocialFi: Build reactive networks where data equals currency
- Prediction Markets: Deploy instant-settlement wagers powered by live data
- GameFi: Architect fully on-chain, high-performance economies
The program is structured in three phases:
- Foundation & Strategy (Weeks 1-2): Builders deep-dive into Somnia’s “reactive primitives,” explore InfoFi, DeFi, and SocialFi use cases, and lock in their MVP scope.
- Build & Deploy (Weeks 3-6): Teams receive continuous technical support, deploy their MVP on Somnia, and iterate with direct feedback.
- Growth & Adoption (Weeks 7-8): Teams integrate with the Somnia ecosystem, grow their user base, and pitch on Demo Day, with top performers receiving up to $20K each in grants.
Applications for Somnia’s Dreamathon are now open and will close on August 31 2025 with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
